Possibly those blocks could be part of the reason the temples fell into such discord, they are “marked by the Devil.” The balloons floating around with Majora’s Mask on them are probably just Skull Kid’s idea of a prank.Īnd really, I do think they were mocking the Triforce and the Goddesses retaliated. I’d still say that the reason there are so many blocks in the game with Majora’s Mask etched into them (I remember seeing them in Woodfall, Snowhead, and Stone Tower Temples) is because those are older relics calling back to the times when Majora’s Mask was a destructive and sought after power in Termina. I mean, it’s nice to theorize, but there’s a line between looking at things objectively and forcing an idea into innocent objects to fit a personal theory. There are colorful designs on most things in the game just like that. So the altar inside looks like Majora - so do countless blocks all over the game! Creating female bits on Majora is p.dumb too - it’s a beast, not a human. The ties to Majora being sent to kill the builders for PO’ing the goddesses are really fragile. Link just fell into the trap and his memories mixed into the land or something, unless this Skull Kid was originally from the same places in Hyrule with those people. As far as I’m concerned, Termina as a whole is an illusionary place the Skull Kid created when he donned the mask. They’re not trying to blasphemy the Triforce Goddesses, who, I might add, have nothing to do with Termina and its 4 deities. The triforce-crotch thing is just ridiculous.
They’re just towers on top of high places, probably so the people could get a better look at the ‘heavens’ (space). It’s high up, sure, but how exactly does that entail that it’s trying to reach heaven? I mean, Eagle’s Tower in LA, the Tower of Hera in LttP, etc…none of these are seen as ‘reaching the heavens’. Well, the Stone Tower really has nothing matching it to the Tower of Babel.
